A Nutrimill Grain Mill Giveaway from Paula’s Bread!By
What perfect timing to have an awesome giveaway like this one during our launch week of the new Getting Ahead in the Kitchen eBook and eCourse! (Don’t have yours yet? Go grab these resources and join us in getting ahead in your real food kitchen!)
Of all the appliances that I have in my kitchen – I love my Nutrimill the most. Why? Because it makes our food taste soooo delicious!
I love making most of our food from scratch, but store-bought whole wheat flour simply isn’t as tasty as freshly ground flour. All of my baked goods are ten times better since I’ve started grinding flour in my Nutrimill. I mainly use freshly ground flour from hard white wheat. As a result, most people can’t even tell my baked goods are made from whole wheat flour. From pizza crust to cookies to muffins to bread – my Nutrimill makes our whole foods lifestyle so easy and delicious. (Here are all my posts about grains and grain mills.)
“But I don’t have time to grind my own flour.”
I always giggle inside when I hear people say that. As if I’m standing in my kitchen for hours sweating and laboring over my wheat and corn, grinding it by hand while my hungry children stand by waiting for their bread.
Grinding flour is as easy as pouring grain into a machine, plugging it in, turning a knob, and walking away. I usually get dishes washed while I’m grinding flour – or rather, while the Nutrimill is grinding flour for me. The result is soft, light, powdery flour – completely whole, completely pure, completely fresh. It is so delicious.
While I mostly use my Nutrimill to grind wheat (for flour) or corn (for corn meal), it can also be used to grind kamut, spelt, hulled buckwheat, oat groats, hully barley, triticalae, rye, brown rice, wild rice, popcorn, sorghum, soybeans, split peas, and dried beans. How’s that for an awesome machine?!
“Where can I get one?”
